Currently more than 250 years old, it is located in the north-east of Portugal’s mainland along the river Douro valley. This region is bordered by mountain ranges in the north, west, and south and by the Spanish in the east. Douro vinyard region was declared a World Heritage Site in 2001.

On the south bank of the river Douro, in Cima-Corgo sub-region, lies Quinta do Seixo, which provides a breathtaking stunning view over the River Douro.

Caves Ferreira (Ferreira Cellars)

Established in 1751 by a family of winemakers from the Douro, Ferreira possesses a rich tradition and a prominent role in the history of Porto wine.
Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, a legendary lady with a unique personality, contributed significantly to the consolidation of the brand. She became indeed a myth and a symbol of strength, facing the adversities of the nineteenth century Douro. Ferreira Cellars invites you to discover a brand older than 250 years, a symbol of top quality that encapsulates Portugal's heart and soul.
